What Lane Alerts is
Lane Alerts is a free tool from RouteAware. You give us a lane and an email address; we check public weather, forecast, and traffic data about once an hour and email you when the picture changes. That is the whole service.
It’s an early warning, not gospel
Our alerts come from public forecast and incident data (NWS, Open-Meteo, routing and traffic providers). Forecasts change and feeds have gaps. Use Lane Alerts as a heads-up to look closer — not as the sole basis for dispatch, routing, or freeze-protection decisions. We’re not liable for cargo loss, delays, or other damages from acting (or not acting) on an alert.
Fair use
The tool is rate-limited (a handful of lanes per email address) so it stays fast and free for everyone. Don’t script against it or use it to spam inboxes that aren’t yours. Lanes expire automatically after 60 days.
Cost
Free. We may show ads eventually to keep it running. No paid tiers, and we’ll never bill you for something you signed up for free.
